Hmmm, among British right backs maybe, but on the whole, including those bloody foreigners, I'm not sure.

    Dan Petrescu?
    Are we winning?

Yeah, Petrescu was class, Lee Dixon was also very good and consistent.

It's hard to look past G.Neville in tbf tho.

On consistency alone, I think it's going to be difficult to argue against. **** me, he started in 1992! How time flies FFS.

Scraping the bottom of the barrel there mate.

For consistency and longevity, unfortunately it's Neville.

Shame what happen with Rob Jones, if he hadnt had his career ruined by injury, Gary Neville would probably currently have about 6 england caps.

Gary Neville undoubtedly a good footballer, however he was lucky to be part of such a successful United team - had he been at any other club he would have done ok but certainly wouldn't have the accolades he's been given now.
            We come not to play.

Actually the most underrated right back was Roland Nilsson at Sheffield Wednesday - he was an absolutely fantastic player.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Yeah, Nilsson was very good. He played centre back as well for some time didn't he?

Our very own Markus Babbel was fantastic, excellent defender and marauding runs to attack, such a shame illness cut his Liverpool career short.

Not really, he was an out and out full-back. He'd left Wednesday by about 1994 so only played in the Prem era for a couple of years, but he was some right-back. Could and should have played at the pinnacle of the game.

Absolutely, again he probably can't really be considered due to his short stay.

I was at Goodison for my favourite Babbel moment.

If Rob Jones hadn't got injured...
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Rob Jones was fantastic, could have been one of the best had it not been for his injuries. He did an amazing job at left back.
