I have a lot of faith in Shelvey, i think he'll become a very good player for us.

I see Wolves are interested in getting him on loan after new year.

Sounds like a good deal for us. I don`T really know what style of football they play, but at least he`ll get PL experience.

Wolves on loan would be great for him, step up from the Championship then hopefully ready to play more for us next season
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

Ive not seen him too much, but was that hatrick a random event. Or is he more deserving of the faith people have now in him?
          *Except Michael, who died.

He's an oustanding talent. His style is very similar to that of Gerrard. He lacks the pace of Gerrard though although he has definitely got quicker

I like how he was ****, not good enough for the championship 3 weeks ago and now hes Gerrards replacement

Still a young boy, strong in the tackle but with pace, like an advanced Steve McMahon.

So Scotland are after him as his Grandad was a Scot.

He certainly looks much quicker than he used to.

Is that not just because it's Championship level?

I don’t think he’s as slow as some people make out, but I certainly wouldn’t describe him as any way quick.

The tackling thing is news to me too, first I’d heard about it was from the Blackpool post as it didn't seem too evident in the few games he played for us.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

He was likened to Gerrard when he signed for us and he has modelled his game on him. Unlike before, he now is playing like Steven Gerrard. It's shocking how similar he is in style

I wouldn't say he's strong in the tackle but he definitely gets stuck in now. He's more like Lucas when it comes to tackling rather than Gerrard/Sissoko/Mascherano. He's not pacey but he's not as slow as he used to be. His pace is no longer an issue

He looked a hell of a lot quicker when he came back from the long term injury he had last season. I thought I was seeing things but at Blackpool, he's demonstrating that he has got quicker. He is young and muscles are the last thing to develop and keep developing so this could be the reason why he's getting quicker.

Not quite on the same level as a young Stevie G but is an outstanding talent none the less. He is going to be a very useful premier league midfielder and a fantastic asset in the squad.

I'd leave him at Blackpool. He's getting regular games with them, which I doubt he'd get at Wolves. Plus, playing in the heightened pressure at the business end of the season, will help develop his mental game.

If he only turns as half as good as Gerrard, we'd have a helluva player on our hands. He's only been good at championship level so far, the Gerrard comparisons are way off and unfair on the lad.

So with Shelvey, Suso, Sterling, we have the core of a team of world beaters, or a team of Insuas.
                                Oh I don't know.
