really? I miss him like a lesbian misses a cock.

Thoroughly enjoyed having one less person to get frustrated with when watching us.

If lesbian porn has taught me anything is that they are always using dildos and strap-ons so they obviously miss cock a lot!

He just wasn't fast or flashy so when he didn't have a great game he looked pretty poor. However - second season aside, I thought he was great and epitomised the commitment you want from a player - never stopped pressing and harrying, always seemed to be busting a gut to get in to the box and never ever hid in a game - plus he chipped in with some really important goals too.

I hate a lot about what modern football has become, the money, the egos, the cheating, the Prima donnas - Dirk was the exact opposite of all that and I'd say he's cut from the same cloth as Jamie Carragher. I'd argue all day with anyone who says you don't need players like them in your team.

I grew to love Dirk and though it was probably the right time to sell, getting only £1m for him by virtue of that ridiculous clause was typical LFC ineptitude.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I take on your point re dirk being opposite to the egotastic money grabbing filth that many players now are. Its a good point and I can't argue against it. When put like that I should have loved dirk, I just didn't. I grew to hate his face, his hair, the ball bouncing off his legs, the lack of pace, the constant breaking down of moves. He frustrated me more than any other player. I can't change that view. I am aware some of my reasoning is completely unreasonable but can I do? Lie?

Maybe you just let the things that frustrated you about him overshadow all the positive attributes he brought to the side?

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

All players have a medical when they come back from their holidays to assess their fitness.
