    Steve McClaren

    Just read this :

"Former England boss Steve [] McClaren says he is open to offers from anywhere after being sacked as Wolfsburg manager"

I've a couple of broken fence panels that need repairing, anyone think I could trust him to do it, especially if it's raining?

Maybe you could get him to write a decent joke for you
The times they are a changin'.

I reckon he'll end up at West Brom.

                        1 across - Slander

                        10 across - Hate

                        11 down - Epidemic

Er, are crossword answers supposed to describe the newspaper they're in?
                        .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

i don't know why he was brought in, in the first place.

NF should get old manager, and everything will be fine.

Steve McClaren this afternoon spelt out his desire to 'see his challenge through at Nottingham Forest'.

The future of the Forest manager was the subject of intense media speculation today but he exclusively revealed to the club's website that he was in no way considering a move away from The City Ground.

He said: "Am I surprised? I am surprised at the reaction that has come following some of the comments I have made.

"Can I deny it? I can't deny that it has been a frustrating time and some things have not worked out the way I had hoped in the first three months but it is a building process and still very much early days.

"Would I like to emphasise? Yes, I would like to emphasise that my only concern is getting on with the job at Forest and achieving the goal of taking the club back into the Premier League.

"The reports? Contrary to reports, it has never been my intention to consider leaving. I'm certainly no quitter and I am as enthusiastic about the task as I was on the day I arrived in Nottingham in June.

"Am I keen? I am desperately keen to succeed at Forest and as far as I am concerned it is onwards and upwards with everyone pulling in the same direction in order to achieve our aims."

Forest Chief Executive Mark Arthur added: "As with all new relationships there are teething problems and some frustrations but they are ones that can be overcome.

"When we appointed Steve we knew we were getting a top class manager with a proven track record and we very much viewed his arrival as the start of a long-term project.

"Nothing has changed with that and more than ever we are looking to work with Steve and helping him achieve the ambitions that we all have for Nottingham Forest."
