Don't wanna further offend your beloved Barca guys
I didn't but thatll probably be because it was White. I've checked, your right, I'm not arsed.

The thing is that Arsenal, their players and particularly Wenger seem to think that playing a passing game gives you carte Blanche to play the self indulgent victim whenever things go against you. It's all this 'oooooh it's so unfair that my lovely players got snapped by those beastly centre halves while playing a contact sport'. He's quick to point the finger but the biggest cunt in the world when it's his own players acting the cunt. He gets away with it in the prem because pundits think his side are the most attractive to watch and therefore another teams attempt to stop there football is robbing us all of Arsenal's wonderful gift to sport.

Well tonight they were thumped. Not just ordinary but utterly played off the park. Wenger and his players acted the cunt in the process and got what they deserved. In a way I'm saddened by the RVP issue as I'd love to have seen him with no comeback to describe his teams abject failure.

So an arrogant ****** gets his cummipence and we get a real display of total football in the process. What's not to be happy about.
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

Can see a punishment coming his way for that one. Was a disgusting red card though, but **** me it didn't matter, Barca are simply unstoppable. I don't really like either team but you've got to admire the way Barca play, and how Arsenal try (and fail) to imitate it

The ref didn't had a shocker. He made one big mistake and that was when he missed the clear cut penalty in the first half for Barcelona.

The red card was a clear cut one. RvP knew exactly what he was doing. He wanted to stop a quick counter attack, second yellow, bye bye RvP.

Stupid thing to do. He and Wenger should get banned a few games for the way they attacked the referee after the game.

He could and should also sent off Koscielny. Already on a yellow when he made the very late tackle on the Barcelona player.

He also missed a clear cut penalty for Barcelona in the second half when Messi again decided to stay on his feet and not go down when he was tackled in the box.

Barcelona should have had three penalties and Arsenal two players sent off. All incidents clear cut ones.

RvP's red saved Koscielny, lost the count how many clumsy challenges he made after getting carded.

The Spanish correspondant was on radio this morning,(forgot his name now damn it, the good one anyway) and he was saying how Xavi talks about not one touch football, but half touch football, letting the ball almost ricochet off your foot/body but obvioulsy with control and direction, that really is immpossible to defend against, and Barca again showed they are indeed the masters of 'half touch' football.

                    Lovely to watch.

edit: oh ffs, it could have been Iniesta who talked about 'half touch' football and not xavi, christ! i only heard it 20min ago and i've forgotton who said it and about who. ffs!

Anyway, i think RvP heard the whistle, his remonstation was too dramatic, false, the way he spins round with his arm in the air, it looks like he's on a revolving pedestal ffs, then the way he talks after, "for god sake" he says, just sounds really false, he bloody heard it alright, it just did'nt look like genuine surprise to me, more....i need to get myself out of the **** here...think think...ah....ref ref...i did'nt hear you!

                          I could be wrong though.

                          edit: but i don't think i am.

If he didnt hear it why did he shoot from that angle when clean through, on his weaker foot?

The whistle is pretty clear on the TV and every other time it went the players heard it

Good point, he hears it then shoots in his temper..or in a...ahhh **** it type way.

And tbf, i could handle that better, i can understand in the heat of the moment, before you have time to think about it...kicking the ball like that in frustration immediately after you hear the whistle when in on goal in such an important game, the debate should be is it really worth a second yellow in such a big game and spectacle, not for me, just give a final warning, a quick talking to, tell the player to calm down or else, and tell him any time wasting and you'll add treble the time back on at the end of the game too as well as send him off next time.

Saying that, the best team won and went through, a brilliant performance by Barca, again.
