Whether or not they like it, footballer's are role models, it's as simple as that. It doesn't mean they have to live like monks but they have a great of responsibility yeno. they're only human and make mistakes but not getting caught up in scandals like Dyer has in his career is hardly too much to ask.

A footballer having a sex video is tacky and ill advised and the girls they smashed were hardly the love of their lives, few sluts looking to get famous by featuring in a sex tape with footballers....no surprise really.

It's just nonsense. No one expects film or pop stars to be role models with their behaviour and young people are every bit as likely to be influenced by them. Why pick footballers?

Largely it's just peoples intellectual and moral cowardice in my opinion. Pick on an easy scapegoat to avoid having to think about larger and more complicated issues in which their own actions or those of people they like might be called into question.

It is good when footballers do set a good example but it certainly isn't a reasonable expectation of people that they do it.

- making sex videos on holiday, great example to kids there

- fighting in Nightclubs

- pissing outside Nightclubs

- refusing to play right mid for Sir Bobby(R.I.P)
