    Bottom of the Table

Just had a look at the bottom of the table, looks like it's going to be a blood bath down there over the next 6 weeks..

    Pos----Team---------GP-----GD----Points
    13-----Blackburn-----30---- -12----33
    14-----Aston Villa----30---- -14----33
    15-----Blackpool-----30---- -15----33
    16-----West Brom----30-- - -15----33
    17-----West Ham----30---- -13----32
    18-----Wolves-------30---- -14----32
    19-----Birmingham---29---- -13----31
    20-----Wigan--------30---- -22----30

Who do you reckon then? There's so little between these teams, plus you've got the likes of Newcastle on 36 points who could quite easily go on a horrific run.

Wigan, West Ham and either WBA or Villa for me. Would prefer it to be WBA for obvious reasons.
    Hello mert.

Still think West Brom, plus Wigan and a freefaller, likely to be Villa the way things are going. Houllier

West Ham will get out of it IMO, I can't see Wigan getting out of it to be honest, but I'm not sure who else will go.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Has anyone ever won a cup and been relegated in the same season?

I can think of a few teams who have lost cup finals and been relegated (Middlesborough and Portsmouth amongst others)
