Congratulations to Man Utd. I've been saying it since Jan that they will win it, in the hope that they will not win it. My old Man refuses to give up that they have. He pins his hopes on Arsenal, the deluded old fool.

Every team has it's share of injuries over a season. United have had, Chelsea too so that's no excuse.

Fact of the matter is, Wenger has bleated on for years that 'next year will be our year' only for it all to fall apart at the business end of the season.

He's had the funds to buy a top quality keeper and a centre half, yet time and time again he's failed to do so.

He's just far too stubborn and deluded for his own good and it's costing you once again.

Same stuff he's been saying for 6 going on 7 years. Liverpool fans got massive stick for defending Rafa's corner for just 1 season - That being last season. 6 years plus the great arsenal pretenders.

Looks that way, but it depends what he's telling his players behind closed doors. If he's saying this publicly, it takes the pressure off - and by god do they need that.

I think he'll be peddling a different message in the dressing room.

You're all depressed, hows this for you.. Owen has a chance to finally win the CL and PL trophy this season. We're basically a distant horrid memory to him as he gets what he's always been wanting, regardless of who he plays for. This will open up jeers from the united fans to our players of 'Join us like Owen did if you want to win trophies'.

Tbh we've been clinging to this for far too long and it's about time they overtook us. Hopefully when they do our club wakes up and gets on with winning a title again.

That said, Arsenal ate still in it IMO, I think beating Blackpool today when they could have ended up throwing it away will be a big relief for them and will finally get them going.

Knowing our luck though we'll beat Arsenal at there ground and hand united the title ourselves on a silver platter.

Looking at the table Arsenal should still be in it, 7 points behind with a game in hand would be do-able, but their recent form is woeful: 3 draws against teams they should have beaten (Blackburn and Sunderland at home and West Brom away), if they'd won one of those and held on to that 4 goal lead against Newcastle they'd be right in it, as it is they have a chance but you know they'll bottle it again.
