Anyone else think Crouch deliberately good himself sent off so he could visit that prostitute from last year?

IIRC Inter was eleven points off the lead when Rafa got sacked. They had two games in hand. Now they are five points off the lead with the same number of games played.

IF Rafa had won the two games in hand then they would have been five points off the lead.........

Do you really believe that they would have played as worse as they do with Leonardo in charge if Rafa would have the same players available?

You saw the stats posted earlier in the thread, Rafa didnt even manage to win half his games at Inter. So it's a bit 'if' about whether he would have won the 2 games in hand. The stats suggest not.

Whereas Leonardo has won 14 from 19.

I dunno. I know that Leonardo has a far better record than Rafa did though. So it's hardly inconceivable.

So what players you have available doesn't count?

If you we use your logic then we should beat City in the next game even if we have 10+ players out injured. The manager can't blame any injuries. We are as good if we play with eight back up players as we are if we play with almost a full strength team, if we use your logic.

Injuries are part and parcel of football, everyone gets them, it's life. They can have an impact, but he still had a far better team available than most of his opponents and should've done far better than he did...and Leonardo has done miles better.

I don't know why Harry made so many tactical changes only because one player couldn't start the game instead of just replacing Lennon with a similar type of player.

Modric out wide, Bale on the right, Jenas on the left.

I didn't think it would be as bad as it was. Still, Redknapp is no Benitez.

                              Well predicted Craig!

No they didn't. Look at the 10+ players they had out injured and a few more not close to 100%.

Compare that with the team that play now. Only three or so of them was available for most of the games the first half of the season.

It is almost a completely new team out there.

Rafa only had Zanetti and Stankovic available almost every game.

Cesar, Cordoba, Lucio, Maicon, Materazzi, Samuel, Chivu, Motta, Sneijder, Cambiasso, Coutinho, Milito and Pandev had LONG term injuries and missed at least a couple of months the first half of the season. Eto'o was suspended a few games.

Now almost all of them are back playing.
