They’ll be after a new manager soon and they’ll undoubtedly be spending some serious cash this Summer.

How can a manager who's only honours are four premier league manager of the month awards get a crack at one of the biggest clubs in the world?!

I'd understand if he was at the club already (ala Zidane and most of the barca ones), but he's not really deserving of this move is he?

I think Potch would be perfect for them but the trouble with any manager coming into the likes of Barca or Real is dealing with the egos of the players & the expectations of the fans. Potch has done well with Spurs but hasn't won anything, seems a very good young manager to be fair but it's a bit of a poison chalice at times.

There will be a big clear out at Madrid in the summer Ronnie, Bale & Benzema so that's about a million a week of the payroll. They seem to want Hazard & De Gea anyways but usually Real go for a player who has had a quality season so beware Salah. No doubts that everyone will be after Kane too... rightly so he's ****ing brilliant.

I can us having a Real/Salah saga in the summer ffs, IMO Salah would be stupid to make the glamour move again like he did with Chelsea but it won't stop the Madrid press machine from creating rumours.

I think we'll be fine re Salah. They'll go for Hazard and surely not both.

As long as Pochettino does a decent job at Real i.e. in the top 2 spots, it wouldn't dent his reputation too much.

There's still the possibility of Low as well.

I think Salah to Real Madrid will be next summer's saga, rather than this summer.

Real will only want players that are belting out the stats. Their fans will be baying for blood when they finish CL-less (hopefully). Hazard will be nowhere near Kane and Salah numbers this summer. I'm afraid these two will be going first.

They've been linked with Neymar too. Neymar, Hazard and Kane as the blockbuster trio to replace Bale, Benzema and Ronaldo.

There were loads of rumours Neymar would be one season at PSG before heading to Madrid. They’ll be spending big but I’m not concerned about Salah leaving for them

Zidane isn’t a great manager IMO - he has a great team who just played v well last season, I watch a fair bit of Spanish football and he does nothing to change it up for them. The players also seem to have stopped trying so that’s him doomed.

The mad thing with Madrid is they didn’t buy big for a couple of seasons now and they do have an aging team and with Barca splashing the cash they need to show ambition which they’ll do no doubt with a few galacticos. They have Vinicius Jnr coming in the summer also and I.m not sure Poch’s style would go down well with a few of the Madrid players. Personally I think Poch will end up at PSG as that is where he played many years.

I think Isco is in danger of wasting his career there insofar as anywhere else and they'd be building a team around him. That said he's winning **** and playing for Real but a player of his quality should be a starter.

Perception after the Neymar transfer and the Super Cup games seemed to be that Barca were pretty much finished and that Real would walk the League / Champions League again.
