I think that's what Mourinho does to his players. Look at Carvalho someone who was under Mourinho at Porto, Chelsea and Madrid...

Mascherano had a couple of disgraceful moments, but if Ronaldo hadn't been trying to con the referee their disallowed goal would have stood.

Ronaldo taking the moral high ground on diving though is just laughable though

As for outside help, don't make me laugh, I thought Madrid would have been lucky to have finished the game with 9 men still on the pitch, Adebayor and Carvalho each committed at least 3 fouls that would normally have each been deemed worthy of a yellow card.

Thought the decision to disallow Ronaldo's goal was ridiculous. If they score that, it's game on.

Aside from Messi's moment of sheer brilliance, both games were a massive anti-climax.

should have stood but then Ronaldo shouldn't have dived for the free kick which resulted in Mascherano to go down like he'd been shot, Ronaldo cost them the goal more so than the ref.

The right team went through in the end although both teams should be a little ashamed how they conducted themselves, what with the monkey comments from Busquets, Mourinho with his typical behaviour and some of the cynical tackling from Real.

I'd be quite surprised now if Mourinho is still there next season, he's not delivered and Madrid are certainly not known for their patience with managers!

Yeah it was disappointing to say the least. Too much play-actin and hysterics - just ruined the occasion.

Quite sad to see Mascherano turn into one of the most hateful, cheating ****ers in football. Ronaldo has a point tbf, he was never that bad in terms of diving, running at refs, and generally being a big pussy when he was at Liverpool.

He complained to the Ref many a time when he was with us, but nowhere near as much as he does with Barca.

Funny how a player can be influenced when he moves Club.

If Ronaldo hadn't have dived the goal would have stood, he did make contact with Mascherano , but Mascherano did make alot of it. What goes around comes around

Amazing stats there for Barca since Guardiola has been in charge! Look at the total Goal Difference over the 3 seasons!

The diving and feigning injuries is just so shameful and really takes the shine off this magnificent footballing machine that is Barca. I would like to think it is simply the nature of the players rather than the coaching they are given by Guardiola etc.

Real Madrid have the players to be more than a match for Barca but with Mourinho in charge they will always be negative against the very best teams.

In fairness he was constantly in the referees ear when he was with us, and attempting to get people booked, the diving and rolling around wasn't as bad but I remember a couple of occasions being embarrased by what he did. I think a few people are underestimating how bad he was when he was with us. What he did last night was worse than anything I recall him doing with us, but to be fair I haven't seen enough of Barcelona to know if he does this kind of thing more frequently than he used to.

Although the conspiracies of Mourinho and Madrid are nonsense, the ref gave everything to Barcelona last night and Mascherano is a piece of ****. That is all I have to add. Oh and watching Messi is one of the greatest things in the world, breathtakingly good!

wanted Barca to go through, no doubt, but couldn't help but notice they were given a helping hand by the refereeing decisions over both legs

Both Carvalho and Adebayor were lucky not to be sent off, if the ref were giving them a helping hand what better way than to send off at least one of them, if they had gone I don't think anyone could have any complaints, (although Mourinho would try).

While the disallowed goal went against Real, the decisions to keep those two on more than cancel that out IMO.

Adebayor must have kicked a Barcelona player more times than he kicked the ball

I'd have sympathy for Real they actually tried to play football. Their tactics seemed to be all about kicking Messi all over the place. How Carvalho, Diarra and Adebayor stayed on the pitch is shocking. Pure bias on the referee's part.
