He was scared ****less of giving Real & Mourinho more fuel for their crying over the red cards. If you commit red card offences, you're gonna get sent off. Makes their bleating about the so-called 'biased' ref even more ridiculous.

Good to see Iniesta back last night, hopefully he'll be fit and firing and ready to rip the scum apart on 28th May.

The form of David Villa worries me though, nowhere near as sharp as he was in the first half of the season.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Easily the most ridiculous stat from last night's #Classico. #RealMadrid fouls: 27, #Barca fouls: 3.

Carvalho's yellow was a piss take though. Lucky not to get a second, but the first was just symptomatic of the fact that touching Barca players is not allowed.

Easy to lambast jose's tactics, but if that red hadn't been given in the first leg it could have ended 0-0. 1-1 away and they're though. While everyone was predicting Barca would kill arsenal and real, results wise they were actually pretty close. I think utd will win it.

They should stop playing dirty then, they deserve to get players sent off, no one to blame but themselves.

That's nonsensical though. Alonso said the same thing. Had the 1st leg ended 0-0 we would've seen a totally different game last night.

Using your logic the fact he didn't get a second proves touching Barcelona players is allowed. So which is it?

Talk about selective use of facts to support a preconceived idea!
                    .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

seems to be the Golden rule in football at this present time.

They go down very, very easily.

I think you'll find it was because they'd already made 3 ridiculously cynical fouls including Kaka mauling Busquets when Busquets was near his own corner flag!!

                        The ref had had enough.

You could see that Barcelona could destroy them if they wanted to. They upped the tempo 10 minutes at the end of the first half and totally out classed Real during that 10 minutes creating chance after chance.

For some reason to win the game wasn't important last night. To go through was all that mattered.

If Carvalho would have been sent off as he should have been any day of the week then it would probably ended 5,6-0.

Yep, it's pretty obvious that Barca were nowhere near going full pelt last night. They did for a 10minute spell in the first half and created about 5 sitters, other than that they just coasted. One of the easiest semi final's they'll ever have.
