Not two footed reckless tackles our ought but many a time Arbeloa was on a yellow, and would foul and risk a second yellow.

Wouldn't call him a cynical player, but he certainly put himself about(which i like to see in a player).

He was just a bit stupid. In that regard anyway. Didn't matter what the situation, he couldn't resist making snide little fouls inside our half. Bizarre as it was one of his only real weaknesses.

Bloody hell. What is it with Referees and their almost obsessional need to send of Madrid players in this fixture. It's almost like the ref looked at his watch, realised Madrid still had 11 players on the pitch and went looking for bookable fouls. Total persecution.

Totally agree about Ronaldo too, outstanding tonight he was. Worked he ass off and made some incredible runs, unbelieavble athlete.
