I wouldn't call it venom and hatred as they don't really concern us but Real Madrid have always been a foul lot, the Mancs of Spain, and obviously that Pulis fella or whatever his name is is a total cunt. Fair to say there's nothing to like about them.

Its so boring wathching Mourhino and his defensive tactics but it works at the end of the day, and even though Barca are a better team I can see real frustrating them in the champs league too!!

Stronger ref might help, but the two crowds can be so intimidating that some decisions are going to be, shall we say it, home favored.
Pepe seems to be immune from discipline in the midfield role that he has occupied, only 2 yellows across both games, whereas I've counted up at least 3 red cards....Alonso should have walked in the Cup game, Ricky was fortunate as well, Messi should have faced further discipline following his freak-out in the first game when he lashed the ball into the crowd, Busquets' play-acting, Adebayor's diving earning two Barca yellow cards in the first game, Ronaldo automatically winning free kicks within 40 yds of the goal, Arbeloa stamping on Villa, weird peno decisions etc etc etc etc

Really ugly side to both games so far, which suits Real if truth be told (although they'll still complain about finishing the games with 10 men), which a strong ref would hopefully clamp down on straight away.
Real certainly don't want the CL games to turn into a football contest..............so I'd expect more of the same, bluster football from Real hoping to catch Barca on the break with a good counter-attack, with as many breaks in play as the ref will allow. This is not the Real that has played all season, these are the tactics they've adopted for these games.
Personally I'd give every one of them a yellow card before the game starts (both sides), and warn them the next bit of bull**** and they'll be off

Real have scored 73 goals in the league this season, and 5 more than Barca at their home ground.

They have loads of quality going forward, the unbelievable Ronaldo, the skillful Ozil, the speedy Di Maria and the ever improving Benzema,
They've also been without Higuain who scored 29 goals for them last season.

Because they don't play the tippy tappy stuff, that means they're defensive and boring does it? Is it a crime for Mourinho to have a plan to stop Barca smashing his team 5-0 again?
I bet you weren't complaining when we managed to dump Barca out of the Champions League in 2007, with similar tactics.

thing is Tony pullis has a very limited budget and so has come up with a way to play with a limited set of players
