It is only after watching Real live that you understand how important Özil and Marcelo are.

They work their socks off to compensate for the lack of tracking back by Ronaldo. Marcelo really is a very clever player. Xabi is the brain in the team. He talks and deliver orders the whole game.

Messi is Messi but he looked tired and Masch is a very good central defender. I doubt that he would be as good CD if he played for another team. You don't need to defend against that many crosses when you play for Barcelona.

really - ozil? admittley i've only watched them a handful of times over the season, and whilst he's played well Ozil, i always thought he got took off about 65 mins, because he was fooked and didn't have the stamina/fitness yet for the league for 90 mins?

Could be ****ed because of all the covering of Ronaldo + being a creative player. There is an interesting article on the Guardian site about Rooney which compares the two. I think in a lot of ways people have underestimated how good a player Rooney is because they fail to account for how much of of contribution he makes to defence/pressing for a full 90 minutes.

I just wanna add my 2 cents on why these 2 clubs are the richest in the world. Ticket prices for this match ranges between 60 Euros to 325 Euros & that's face value! Hospitality starts @ 885 Euros all the way to 1,762 Euros!!
And we thought the likes of Chelski were charging a lot.
The reason I know this is because I'm going tomorrow night - it's DEFINITELY a one off for me!!
