    Tell that to Arsenal mate

Anf Pinto slapped Arby he's off, Sergio and Pedro blatant cheating, it goes both ways.

And although it's not pretty to watch it is the most effective way to play against Barcelona ya know, Madrid will let Barca have the ball in certain areas, close out the space in teh key areas and try and get them on the counter. If Barca go infront we might see a different game.

I'm not saying i'm enjoying the game but i understand why Mourinho sets up like this against Barca, it is a poxy game though. Lot of cheating and petty **** going on too.
It doesn't make sense. He's got the players to try and impose their game over any side, but he just cannot do it.
      Are we winning?

If you come out and play against Barca you get your ass handed to you. It's not pretty but it's effective
May be so, but at least they are approaching the match the correct way.
No ones disputing that to frustrate Barca is Real's approach...thats as clear as day.
I'm no big Madrid fan, but I'm extremely disappointed with this approach, although not exactly surprised (and thats was even before the ****e they served up in the other games)..........
Its no great tactical input from Mourinho, its boring and its obvious....no more than that, and we as football fans should be hoping that Barca open the scoring because at least then something will change. Until then, expect more of the same..........scam a few free kicks, maybe a quick break against the run of play etc etc

IMO it's the only way to beat Barca, maybe it's not pretty but it has worked.

Jaysus Nige obviously i am not, they are the best passing side in the premier league and have most posession and win **** all. So your point is dog **** pal.

I hear ya mate, i suppose the end result over 2 legs will show whether Mourinho was right to play in this fashion.

Prob a god thing for Madrid that Ramos misses second leg, he's woeful.

Ramos booked for a foul on Messi now misses 2nd leg
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

                            Chelsea - tick
                            Inter - tick
                            Madrid - tick

Each and every time he's played boring one dimensional football. It's easier to win with resources he's had.

I don't think his tactics are any different from Roy ****ing Hodgson, I'm with Shaggy on this one. He's got better players.
Fair enough, I understand were you are coming from and I was more defending his record than his tactics. I would love it if Madrid came out and played some brilliant football, a team with the players they have is definitely capable.

Been a dull dull game so far hopefully the adebayor sub makes a difference, would be nice to see some of the passion in the tunnel at half time out on the pitch.
The times they are a changin'.

True....the end justifies the means for him. It has all through his career, but I don't think I could stomach him over a prolonged period (I'm not even sure that a couple trophies could offset it either, before anyone mentions it.......hard to say, I agree)
