They've shown a vulnerable side away from home in the CL though. He's got the most expensive squad ever assembled, he should have had some balls. At the Nou Camp or neutral ground its perfectly understandable but im not sure what playing for a 0-0 was trying to achieve, every team is likely to lose the away leg at Barca. Arsenal went at them at home and took a lead to the Nou Camp. Now they're just out and the second leg is meaningless.

Thats my main reason for rating them better than those todayOriginally posted by Buzzo View Post
Some of the treatment Pele and Maradona received would lead to season long bans in today's football.
People tried physically assaulting the likes of Pele, Maradona Cruyff, Eusebio in order to stop them and still couldnt manage it
Todays defenders wouldnt have that luxury just like they dont with MessiBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

absolutely delighted because i ****ing detest real madrid. we stuffed them a couple of seasons ago and barca have just finished them off.
the whole club is the anti-thesis of football. theyre a circus and the biggest bunch of arrogant ******s on gods earth.
theyve spent nearly 400m euros and they didnt win the league and they wont win the champions league.[B]Sir Isaac Newton knew the universal law of karma - any action has its equal and opposite reaction.[B]

Well we'll never know now as they finished with 10 men and it killed them i think. IMO it was nailed on for a 0-0 and would have been very interesting going to the Nou Camp at 0-0.Originally posted by Chris View PostThey've shown a vulnerable side away from home in the CL though. Truly evil tackle. Total hatchet job. Unbelievable to see Diego's response next time he played them tho

Well, no, it wouldn't. Barca still would have won at home. And like I said before, the red card, whilst a bit harsh perhaps, was incidental of how Madrid play nowadays, especially against Barcelona. It's not bad luck, or a conspiracy that they continually get players sent offOriginally posted by danperkins View PostWell we'll never know now as they finished with 10 men and it killed them i think.
