I always remember my dad telling me about watching Pele in the flesh in the UK (at Hillsborough I think)

He said they booted Pele up and down the pitch for 80 minutes until he decided he'd had enough and ran the ball into the corner flag then as the defender came in to do him he side-stepped and then elbowed the player in the face breaking his nose

Pele could handle himself he was a tough lad as was Maradona

Actually Suarez reminds me a touch of Pele the way he runs at players and the ball ricochets off the defenders legs but he has so quick feet that hes able to bring it back under control again enabling him to go past them (see United). Pele use to do that a lot

I presume that was in 66? Not that I am old enough to remember - but Pele basically got fouled out of the whole tournament and I am sure ended up getting sent home injured eventually...

Barca are better now than they were two years ago, and the Mancs substantially weaker. Unless something incredibly spawny happens, Barca will murder them and I for one cannot ****ing wait to see that.

The usual **** from Mourinho. They could EASILY had ten red cards in the last three games against Barcelona. Should have been three or four in the cup game, three or four today and a couple more in the league game.

He will of course paint it out like he usually do. The whole world is against us when in the real world the referees have favoured them big time.
