Time will tell. Unfortunately, I doubt that's true. There's so much diving, feigning injury and aggressive protestation going on that it's clearly pretty deeply ingrained in many of the players. Mascherano, Alves and Busquets especially. It's a real shame. Their actions are bringing the club into disrepute in my opinion.

Real Madrid's protestations are just embarrassing though. They are just as bad. Only difference is that they came off second best. Ramos, Ronaldo, Di Maria are all horrible, cheating *******s. Not to mention old fagan himself, Mourinho.

I think we can all agree it's the only reasonable solution.
It would make things more interesting that's for sure!

I think if someone is shown to be deceiving the referee, it should be a retrospective yellow card. It would take a season or two for people to adjust, but the clubs themselves would make sure players don't do it after that.

All the previously mentioned issues are a plague on the game, and something needs to be done. The actions of these players are filtering down to grass roots football and it's horrible to see.

Hopefully Barca dish out a ruthless battering tonight. Again.

Yep of the four games in the last two weeks this is the only one at home for Barca, and they've already emerged from the first three on top. Clinched the league in Real's backyard, lost the Cup final and owned them in the CL. Another 5-0 tonight would be great.

Busquets is an absolute disgrace and should be banned for that. It's clear. What is it with racism in Spain?

Get the feeling this might be brutal again tonight

I just hope that no one gets injured to put them out of the final, especially Messi

he seems to be complete and utter scum that Busquets.

Just gone way too far there. Any chance of him missing the final if action is taken?

Xavi, Puyol, Iniesta, Messi, Guardiola etc all seem like class acts off the pitch as well as on it, good guys. So I'm amazed they stand for that ****. They really should have a word.

I'd like to see Busquets punished for that but I hope he doesn't miss the final.

I'd love to see Barcelona themselves make an example of him. Suspension and a big fine.

Agree with you on on Guardiola, but at the end of the day he does stand for it. And if this **** keeps happening then he has to take some of the responsibility.

If it's true he should have the book thrown at him. Domestic, Euro and international bans as well as a big fine should give a fairly clear indication of the stance on this sort of thing.

I'm trying to think what would be a reasonable penalty though. This is such a high profile case that if UEFA (as a minimum) don't come down hard on him then it's almost absolving him for it.
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

Barcelona seem to be UEFA's golden boys, I'd be very surprised if any action took place.
                                We come not to play.
