Liberal Democrat MP John Hemming today named Ryan Giggs in a parliamentary urgent question on super injunctions.
He said:
“With several thousand people already having named Ryan Giggs on Twitter…”
He was then cut short by the Speaker.
Attorney General Dominic Grieve replied:
“It is our duty as parliamentarians to maintain the rule of law.”Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

That's bizarre, I never realised the systems between the two countries would be so different. Why don't the Scottish press just out them all from the start then?Originally posted by truefan999 View PostNope. Scotland has a different legal system. Injunctions only apply to England and Wales. He needed to get another for Scotland. He didn't.
The attorney-general is not even considering asking for an investigation into the Herald.
As for injunctions here. It is a tricky one. They are usually served upon and notified to traditional media (tv, radio and newspapers) so only they have notice of them. It is in fact a grey area whether the man in the street can be prosecuted for breach of them

By not holding his hands up and just saying "yep, it was me, it's a fair cop. I shagged that tidy Welsh desperado who was on Big Brother behind my wife's back, you've got me." He's just made it all worse. Seriously would anyone have given two ****s if the story had just come out? But by drawing attention to it and trying to make himself out as the innocent party, he now looks like more of a **** then ever before.
It's not a shock, RG has previous. A friend of mine has thrown him out of a nightclub in Manchester before after seeing him get narky with a lass
