Wolves could really give themselves a chance with a win tomorrow, have to say though Hodgson has done well since he's been there and it'll be tough for them.

West Ham aren't gone yet, they have to win both their games, but they have Wigan (a) next weekend and Sunderland (h) last day. The Wigan game is a massive one for both clubs, if West Ham win that you'd fancy them to beat Sunderland at home to stay upThe only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Wigan are arguably in the best form of the bottom 6 so i'd be surprised if West Ham went there and got 3 points.Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostWest Ham aren't gone yet, they have to win both their games, but they have Wigan (a) next weekend and Sunderland (h) last day. Yeah you'd think they could defo beat Sunderland at home altho they've picked up a little bit in recent weeks(won 2-1 at Bolton today), but overall i think it's too little too late for West Ham.
West Ham and Blackpool are goners for me, then one of Wolves, Wigan, B'ham and Blackburn will go down with them.
Feck i'd hate to be a supporter of one of them teams, horrible situation to be in.

Blackburn and B'ham are obviously 4 clear but Blackburn play United next and B'ham might yet have to get something at Spurs on the last day.Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostI think Blackburn and Birmingham are probably safe. It's 3 from Wigan, Wolves, West Ham and Blackpool IMO
They're not out of it just yet, but aye i suppose it would still be a surprise if either of them went down. 1 more point each should be enough for them.

I'd actually like Spurs to beat City on Tuesday night. If we win our 3 games, which i think we should do, we'll finish above spurs anyway.
If we win tomorrow and Spurs beat City, we'll be able to close to within 1 point of City by next weekend by beating Tottenham, before City play Stoke. Granted, Stoke at home should be an easy game for them, but if we're 1 point behind them at that stage, that'll be the time their arses go...if their arses ARE gonna go at all

impressive optimisim - Man City need to get to 65 points don't they to secure 4th, still 2 points off with 3 games and a cup final to go
Would be very, very funny if they did somehow **** this up

Thing is, if the results went the way i said, eg:
We win at Fulham
Spurs win at City
We beat Spurs
That leaves us 1 point behind City, who would have 2 more league games left, needing just 1 win to secure 4th.
Now, the last of those 2 games is away at Bolton, which is far from a gimme for anyone. Hard place to go and the last thing City would want, is to leave themselves NEEDING to win that game to secure it. So by this logic, Stoke at home (if the results above did happen and we'd got to within 1 point of City) would be one hell of a nervy game for them, and just 3 days after the FA Cup final which, regardless of who has won it, could also have an impact on their mentality.
I've maintained all season that City, when under pressure, are vulnerable to buckling, but the problem is, there's rarely been too much pressure on them. If the results above happen the way i describe, there'll be ****loads of pressure on them
