        Something's finally happened. Fletcher scores, Wolves 1-0 WBA....someone will be sent from the West Brom bench down to the local sweet shop shortly, for a consignment of Smints.

              Dunno if anyone watched MotD last night... But how good does David Silva look just now. At one point he pulled a 50 yard crossfield punt out of the air, making it look the easiest thing in the world. Looks a class act.... He should have been ours.

                yes he should have been, one of many that slipped away due to the previous owners.

                      Yeah Silva's in fine form atm, classy little player.

                      I do think he's helped massively with having the likes of De Jong, Viera, Barry and to a lesser extent Y.Toure doing the running for him which allows him to concentrate on opening teams up and/or nicking a goal for himself.

                      Not taking anything away from Silva, but not having to worry about tracking back etc is a great help to him.

                        Watching todays game you could say it looks like Hodgsons defensive tactics are finally starting to register with WBA.

                        Defensive tactics that have been honed during his 36 years coaching etc. etc.
