Fair point but none of those have the skill level and abilities that Mata possesses.

The problem with waiting is that I cannot see him staying with Valencia.

It would be nice to get Mata, but only after a left back and centre back. Just looking at our squad, we have 46 on our books, that's probably 8 too many, Poulsen, cole, Jovanovic, Insua, Aqua/Raul, Ngog, Aurellio, maybe Soto if we get a CB, El Zahr and degan. How much are we forking out on wages on that lot each season?

Gervinho will be quality for them... he is very good and entering his prime. Even if Cesc and Nasri go. Mata and Hazard into that side with a big CB and a new LB and they are a huge threat.

He posted a link yesterday to some LFC forum, don't know which one. The link was about a thread about Mata and some lad who claims to be an ITK reckons Mata has already signed and that the friendly v Valencia is part of the deal.

He's not posted much this lad when asked who his source was he wouldn't give anything away.

No doubt he's probably talking out of his bum hole.
