        Looks like the Mancs will be going into next season as this lot as their strikers:

        Rooney, Hernandez, Welbeck, Owen.

          Don't forget Bebe

          If/When they get Young they will probably use him as a second striker when they need too

            Where is Berbatov going?
            Are we winning?

              Michael Owen signs 1-year contract with #MUFC. Has "loved every minute" of this season. Needs more than 228 mins on pitch in Prem next year

                Educated guess is back to Germany. Or maybe even back to Spurs as part of the Modric deal.

                Spurs = Manc feeder club.

                  WTF why have they offered Owen a new contract
                  The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

                    Sorry, I've been out of the loop for a long time. So, is Modric being lined up for that shower of ****e, maybe to replace Scholes?

                      Apparently so which is both a good news/bad news situation for us. The good news being he'd be leaving Spurs which will **** them over royally as he's their best player by far. Bad news is he's going to United and he's a very, very good player in a position they've been sorely lacking in.

                        Backs up everything i've been saying for a year - the mancs dont have the money to buy a proper replacement. It all goes back to when they sold Ronaldo...if you've got £80m to spend, you go for David Villa and David Silva from Valencia, not Antonio Valencia and Michael Owen.

                        The money went on debt servicing - as does most of their cash. Hence the reason to give new contracts to the likes of Carrick, Fletcher, and now, laughably, Owen.

                          There's no way the mancs can afford Modric.

                          They're spending £18m on De Gea. That's about half their budget IMO and Modric would cost about £25m.

                            @craig.

                            They have just confirmed there transfer policy, by re-signing Micheal Owen.

                              Manc on RC:

                              We should sign up Berba too, that way with have the entire transfer chest (after De Gea) to build up our midfield and make us a match for Barca.

                              Yeah, around £17m is all it should take to make you a match for Barca

                              You could add a zero onto the end of that, and it still wouldnt be enough.

                                Deluded ****ers.

                                I saw one saying "Modric, Sneidjer, De Gea and Young in and we'll be a match for Barca"
