He looks a really exceptional player to me. I think he'd be excellent in either of the more advanced CMish roles at Barcelona (where Xavi and Iniesta play) and is good enough at tackling to replace Keita for a lot of games I would suggest.

He's very productive too - he gets a lot of assists and his continuity play is excellent. His problems are that if he wants to be an attacking CM he doesn't score regularly enough and he has at times been asked to play DM where he is very ill suited.
