if city sign Nasri i'd be a little worried about city - as per my comments in the charity shield thread - for all the money city have spent...they looked ****e....However Nasri i like, and Nasri/Silva/Aguero in the same starting team is frightening - Yaya Toure bombing forward gives that attack some physical presence and De Jong offers the protection behind them.....Defence still a little suspect, but the attack has the potential to be so good that it will just blow pretty much any of the lesser teams away.


On the other hand tho - Arsenal - deary deary me....If the lose Nasri AND Fabregas, plus they've lost clichy and not really replaced - well i don't know where that leaves them - has any major club ever lost 3 key 1st team players in one summer! I'm not talking about ones that have retired etc....but actually losing them.....that'd be the equivelent of us selling Gerrard, Suarez and Johnson this summer....and having only signed young winger from a lower division - plus they were already desperate for a keeper and at least one centre half.....

I'd be pretty worried if i were an arsenal fan. Ramsey struggling with injury again...Van persie injury prone, Wilshere will burn out if he is expected to pick up the burden, defence is a mess and keeper is ****e!

In my eyes they need...

1st choice Keeper

1st choice centre half

1st choice left back

a top centre mid to replace fabregas when he goes

another striker as van persie is injury prone and chamakh and bendtner are ****e.


And they have just over 2 weeks to sort it!

aye - i kinda 'included' that as they have probably signed him as Nasri's replacement which is why i that position out of things they need to sort...

My interpretations has been that Wenger might be thinking of moving Walcott more centrally - to give him some depth in terms of frontmen - with Chamberlain being eased into the team in Walcotts old wingman with pace role. If you are right I think it is a massive gamble.
