They are going through significant period of instability and uncertainty and while it is not the same as what we went through I feel bad for them.

There isnt uncertainty within their club though, they arent uncertain whether their club will go into admin.

I disagree with your statement that:

"What they are going through is what we had been through just last year and year before"

I don't feel particularly sorry for them, I think that Wenger has brought this on himself. They are in this position because of his stubbornness and refusal to sort out the problems they have had for years. If he'd addressed the problem positions 2 or 3 years ago they could have been winning trophies and the players would have been happy - it's not like they haven't had the money. Fabregas leaving has been on the cards for years, so it's not unexpected either. I can understand the frustration for the fans but the club shouldn't have let things get to this point.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I said that from the point of view of them losing their best players who wanted out as it happens to us.

Alonso's saga dragged entire summer and Masch situation the following year wasn't much better. That is what they are going through this year with Cesc and Nasri and for that reason I feel bad for their fans.

Wenger can't blame anyone than himself. He could easily signed a quality keeper but it is his decision not to do it and spend the money on up and coming players instead.

It is his decision not to sign a proven striker that could replace Van Persie when he again get injured. He spent the money on youngsters instead so money had nothing to do with it.

It his his decision not to break the wage structure meaning that it is very difficult for them to sign the players they need now.

If you want to be able to compete for the titles and win them then a wage structure like that simply won't work.

He will be gone after this season without any doubt at all.

Fair enough but I feel for their fans as we are also in the position that we cannot get rid of most, if not all players that Hodge/Purslow bought, sold or loaned last year.

Wenger is great when it comes down to attacking tactics but as already been mentioned he has proved over the years that he isn't that great building a working defence or set up a good defensive tactic.

He is bit overrated. You must be able to do both. Look at the great managers out there. They are more complete than Wenger. They can sort out a good defensive and attacking tactic.

I'm not sure we have any idea about that - how do we know whose decision it is how strict the wage structure is? He bought young players but they will a/ almost certainly fit the wage structure and b/ represent much smaller outlays in general in terms of fee.
