What I suppose I mean by that is, we have brought well and got the players in for the positions we need. We could go out and buy a CB but we dont need one as a matter of urgency. Like we needed a Winger or a LB. Too be honest we could fill the position of CB and then we would notice somewhere else that was weaker. It could go on forever.

I'd suggest we really do need 2 1st choice CBs, although our problems were so widerspread after G&H's disinvestment & Bodge's abject clownery, we cannot afford to address all our issues in 1 transfer window.

yup i'd agree - Modric is a class little player - but benayoun would 'replace' some of what he provides, kalou gives them an extra wide/attacking option - they'd get scott parker for less than £10m which would improve their squad again and leave them at least another £17m to spend....
