Everton are not a competitor to us, they do not have the same object as us, when Everton start the season their goals as a club are completely different to the goals of LFC. And everyone tries to surpass each other to win, it's sport.

I think a central defender is an ABSOLUTE MUST

Firstly the Greek will probably leave, Agger whilst class is made of glass, that leaves Kelly, Wilson & Wisdom

They are very inexperienced in those positions (or in Kellys case not suited if what I'm told is accurate)

Absolutely, we currently have Agger (injury prone), Carra (getting on), Skrtel (an accident waiting to happen) and Soto (just not good enough full stop) so to that end we need a new top class central defender.

Kelly and Wilson will no doubt get mentioned but I personally feel, Kelly is better suited at RB and Wilson needs another season of training with us and easing in.

That is the three must signings. After that it is all about how KK want to build the squad and if our young players is ready to act as backups and play four five league games if we are forced to do it.

To sign a new central defender for example isn't a must. To sign a defensive midfielder isn't a must.

you have harped on all season and quite rightly how much Agger means to our defense when fit in terms of being able to bring the ball out of defense when you take into account that our other 3 CB's at the moment are basically varying degrees of cloggers where would that leave us defensively?

No real surprise. As i said in this thread earlier, LFC is not at the moment considered to be a club that buys the top players, which give other top players looking to leave smaller clubs for bigger ones, Like Aguero....confidence they'll win trophies here, can't really blame them if i'm being honest.

It'll take time, and proof that we are challengers.
