Liverpool FC Transfers - Kun Aguero the Story so far

Well well well this past 10 days have been a turn up for the books.

LFC no chance of signing him...(5days later) Well they have a chance just a slim one...Today (LFC in the mix)

It's certainly silly season with various Journo contradicting each other..Today Real say they are NOT interested in Aguero..great IF you believe it.

Right lets wind the clock back to the January Transfer window and it was all about El Sulk..however what most fans did not know is that FSG sanctioned 2 signings in an attempt to keep Torres at LFC. The 1st we all know was Suarez..the 2nd was none other than Aguero.

We entered into talks with AM on Sunday 9th Jan the bid then €47m, we had already had encouragement from the player then that a move would "be of great interest" so we pursued however AM wanted €60m so we declined knowing the player would force the issue come the summer..what happened next was an utter clusterf*ck as Torres threw his toys out and wanted bye bye..we needed a target man and all efforts were thrown into Andy Carroll.

We did not just walk away from the player & we knew he would be off in the summer and that we would bid again...AM are a difficult team to negotiate with but Aguero held the cards and hence he entered into a new contract with a buyout clause well within our reach.

What we have at the moment is horrible for all Athletico fans and my heart goes out to them as Marca try to single handedly force the issue with Kun to Real (not going to happen).

For what its worth i think he'll play in the Premier League next season..i am very wary of City&Chelsea but honestly and its just my opinion we are firmly in the mix for him.

As i posted before DC is travelling to Spain& France this week just as the news broke.
