I can see why people want to compare Paisley with the tramp in terms of success but there's no comparison. Ferguson is clearly a brilliant manager and incredibly successful but there's nothing "great" about him. Bob Paisley was a great in terms of football, trophies, conquering Europe in an era where you only met other league winners and mainly his integrity.

Ferguson is successful but calling him great is like saying Donald Trump is a "great" man because he's a billioinaire whereas he's actually just a cunt with a load of money. Ferguson is a cunt with a load of trophies. Greatness takes a lot more than being a whining, two-faced, bullying ******.

Nothing to do with Sky generation, it just never escapes my attention that when it comes to judgement, you seem to often go awry, that's all.

Nothing to do with bitterness either, nor am i disputing that Ferguson's a top manager and yes, his record in the Premier League is second to none.

But Sir Bob, in just 9 years, won the title 6 times, the European Cup 3 times and dominated Europe completely.

As i said, he wipes his arse with Ferguson.

Without dragging this irrelevance out much longer, I was under the impressions that Fergie has won double the amount of titles as Paisley no?

And like i said no point in saying 'what if' paisley had the time in management that Fergie had etc, he didn't and you still have to win it, not a given.

Anyways a different of opinion, but no argument that they are two of the best managers of all time.

Yeah, double the amount of titles in FIFTEEN MORE YEARS FFS.

If we were both managers, and you'd won 6 titles (use your imagination here ) in 12 years and i'd won 4 in 5 years, you're a better manager than me then?

It's our own ****ing fault that we have slipped behind them in titles as we have ****ed about for 20+ years going on about past glory. Im glad we now have this monkey off our back and we no longer have the record as it now gives the entire club somthing to aim for.

For far too long people running our club have lived on the past glory of our club and used it as an excuse for their own failures.

Today our club has been given an enema.
