Tragic that it is always those cunts that come out on top when the league is poor. They are themselves the worst united team under bacon face but the british press are so far up fergies backside that they make you beleive they are the best team ever. In no way would a Rafa Banitez Liverpool side playing in europe would have lost to Barca they way the scum did the other night.

IMO it is a shame that we were destroyed by H&G as Rafa was building something great here.

what type of striker is he? were would he play.

obv barca are ****ing wonderful but as fan of them, if i was to criticise, or maybe not so much criticise, but would want to improve/strengthen their squad i think they'd need...

another strong/good in the air centre back to provide cover to puyol/pique and a more of a bigger/stronger centre forward presence - just to give them something a bit different if or when needed, can challenge in the air, attack crosses, hold up the ball and link play

He is the same type of striker as Bojan and Pedro. Small, excellent technique and very quick.

I'm not sure that there is any point in having players who would get on the end of crosses/long balls which the team is not set up to play very often. Ibrahimovic did fairly well but not spectacularly, and he was about the best suited target man to Barcelona.

To me their main problem is strength in depth. They would struggle in England not because of quality but because they would get more injuries and more fatigue and they have a far smaller squad than other top teams. Consequently they should look for more players like the ones they have. From what I have seen (a relatively limited amount) Rossi is a fair approximation to that, although he has always seemed more strong/athletic and taller than the likes of Pedro or Villa. Perhaps he represents something of a compromise?

In recent seasons Barca arguably lost both talent and alternative strategies when they sold Eto'o, Henry and Ibrahimovic but the team that one this CL is better than that two years ago. It's all about the collective and the united style (plus Messi).
