Why are people lumping the 2006 Barca side with the current one? Completely different team to the "Guardiola era" team we enjoy today and inferior in every way, even if it was still bloody good.

...the Messi haters. Saw some idiots on Twitter yesterday ridiculing him, saying he can't play without Xavi and Iniesta practically putting his goals on a plate for him, hence his under performance for Argentina.

- how can you hate messi - he's unbelievable at football, and most of all he's a top pro, he's grounded, level headed, loyal, doesn't moan, never ever hear about getting up to ****, never ever out there self promoting himself, he just loves football, loves barca and gets on with it and performs week in week out.
Easily the best i've ever seen by a mile, and surely the greatest of all time, though that does bring in other arguments - which is why i mentioned the world cup - if he added that to his CV - well then there would be no arguements.
i have read his wiki page a few times....it's unbelievable reading..
