But in reality where would he end up, Chelsea, Citeh or United, none of which imo are a bigger challenge then Bayern.
If he does come to the Premiership i think it'll be United or possibly Arsenal.
Personally I would have liked to see him at Arsenal

Lothar Matthaus has suggested that Bayern Munich are closing in on the signing of forward Robert Lewandowski from Borussia Dortmund.

Recent reports in the German media claimed the 24-year-old, whose contract expires next year, was set to become Pep Guardiola's first recruit upon taking charge at the Allianz Arena in June, while Manchester United have also been credited with an interest in acquiring the striker's signature.

And despite BVB's continual denials that they have agreed a deal to sell Lewandowski to arch-rivals Bayern in the summer, the legendary Roten midfielder appeared to add fuel to the speculation.

"I was on the road this week. I heard that Lewandowski has an agreement with Bayern. Only the date of the move remains undecided," Matthaus told Sky Bundesliga.

"Lewandowski's contract runs out in 2014 and Dortmund will only get a fee in 2013 - surely a high fee. I heard it was something between €25m-€30m, otherwise he will go to Bayern for free next year."

Matthaus then explained how the Poland international would serve as a better option in Guardiola's attack than central striker Mario Gomez.

"I think he is a player that fits more into the system of Guardiola than Gomez," he added.

"He showed Guardiola last week in Leverkusen how a forward is not only an attacker but also drops deeper."

I'd love to know if he really wants them to win the CL. Obviously it's great to walk in to a club where theres so many brilliant players who know how to win etc but it looks like they're going to win a treble, smashing everyone while barely conceding a goal. Every manager will want to improve what he inherits but how?! Not sure it's as simple as oh they can improve Mandzukic so go get Falcao, Suarez or the Polish fella and it's immediately better and they wouldn't be the first team to lack a little motivation after such an amazing season.

Anyone reckon part of him hopes Dortmund wins?

I'm not sure, I can see where you are coming from but that would be seriously selfish. It would also be the 2nd CL final loss in consecutive seasons for the Bayern players, mentally that must take its toll and it could leave him with some picking up to do.

Yeah that would be crap for them and Pep cheering on his now biggest rival would be seriously weird. Plus retaining it would be an awesome achievement for him anyway but I do wonder if theres a little bit of "jeez, leave me something to improve on!!" in him.

apostrophes really only go in words like don't, can't or haven't, or to show possession like "ptp's crazy stalker is following him again."

otherwise, if you ever wind up asking yourself whether or not to use an apostrophe, the answer is most likely no.

Might be a delayed KO, Barca team coach is stuck in traffic and hasn't turned up yet.

1 nil to Bayern against weakened Barca team. Munich look superb, can't believe this is them in pre-season. Ribery and Robben look at their best already. This Bayern team is going to destroy the german division,
