He does seem to have a really good relationship with the fans, board and players but it would seem a logical step to me, an established Premier League club with better players, more money and European football

They could be adapted to play his style of football fairly easily with the players they have.

If Martinez goes to Fulham would Rafa to Wigan make sense? He wants to stay in Liverpool and Wigan is nearby isn't it?

Never in a million years, could i see Dave Whelan appointing Rafa. And nor would i expect Rafa to entertain the idea of managing Wigan, either.
