also - i didn't follow the qualifying...so whilst i might be quick to slate england...can anyone tell me where the **** the french, italian, dutch, german, portugese are?

ah just done some reading - the qualifying for it is a bit ****ing mental but anyway....
Italy - finished top on GD above wales..hungary, bosnia, luxemburg the other teams - Italy were then knocked out by BELARUS in the playoff - after winning the first leg 2-0 they got beat in the return leg 3-0
Netherlands - actually finished top of their group above Spain! (finland/poland/liechenstien made up the rest) - they were then knocked out in a playoff on away goals against Ukraine.
Germany - finished 3rd behind the Czech and Iceland - the mighty san marino and northern ireland were the other
France - finsihed 3rd behind belgium and ukraine (above sloevnia and malta)
