    UEFA Euro U21 Championships

It's some football to watch over the summer, which is nice .
Currently 1-0 to Belarus over Iceland with England an Spain playing tomorrow, you never know, watching this tournament we could find the next Ryan Babel h:

2-0 Belarus now, good goal, but terrible goalkeeping.

Eriksen is a player I'm a great admirer of.

The only team I've seen him linked to so far is the Chavs.

          Meh.

          Pretty uneventful first half.

Better start of the second half. The goal by Shaqiri was a beauty.

Comes on at 7 so my guess is half-past to quarter to.

I though Iceland was a bit unlucky, their main attacker were sick in the build up and they missed at least 2 practice sessions for the game. Then they lost Johann Berg early in the game.

I reckon we'll see Gylfi Sigurdsson of Hoffenheim, Aron Einar of Coventry and Kolbein Sigthorsson in the Premier League at some point. I think Kolbeinn is going Ajax for 4-5 million euros.
                      * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Any news on possible line-ups? Will be a very interesting game, Spain should win but that English team has promise though.

I think some people had Iceland down as a bit of a dark horse to win the tournament, there is actually a lot of talent in that side, Sigurdsson looks an excellent player, I bet Reading regret letting him go, albeit for 6 million euros.

How come Spain and England are in the same group, is this tournament not seeded?

                              Seeding

The draw for the final tournament took place on 9 November 2010 at Aalborg Congress & Culture Centre in Aalborg.[7]

Similar to former tournaments, the games in each group are to be held at just two stadia. For the draw, the finalists were divided into three seeding pots, based on average points per game in the qualifying phase, with each group having one team from pot 1 and 2, and two teams from pot 3. Denmark, as hosts, were seeded first automatically.[8]

                              Pot 1
                              Denmark (assigned to A1)
                              Czech Republic (assigned to B1)

                              Pot 2
                              Spain
                              Iceland

                              Pot 3
                              England
                              Switzerland
                              Belarus
                              Ukraine
                              We come not to play.
