No he wasnt, that's your opinion.Originally posted by Arn View PostHe was our best player when he got the chance to play more often. He created a lot of chances and had a few assists.
Average as best my ass. If Gerrard had delivered in the same way then you would have said how excellent he is.
And to compare Aquilani to Gerrard is one of the most laughable things you've posted...and there's a lot of competition for that prize too.

I dont agree at all. Lennon is decent on his day. But since that injury last season when he was on red hot form he hasn't been anything special. We already have Aquilani and his market price seems to be around 10 mil at the moment. Lennon would cost us double that and I can only see them being of about the same value to our squad.Originally posted by Craig_H View PostLennon would beat men, make things happen and create mayhem with his pace and directness.
Aquilani will do very little and get injured.96 Never Forgotten

He would look confused at deep lying defences and show a complete lack of intelligence and constantly hit crosses to no one.Originally posted by Craig_H View PostLennon would beat men, make things happen and create mayhem with his pace and directness.

We don't need another brain dead pace merchant.

Both Lennon and Aquilani are just meh, but if i had the choice it would be Lennon every time. We do not need Aquilani, the position he would play is covered and it's not an area that is priority, whereas the wings are IMO.
Although IMO Lennon is a scatty headless chicken, he is a winger and does have severe pace and can be a handful.
Personally i hope Aqua is sold IMO he is not suited to the premier league, and we don't go near Lennon

Contradiction there surely? On his day he's only 'decent', but he's also been 'red hot' and 'special' ?Originally posted by Fernandinho View PostI dont agree at all. Lennon is decent on his day. Revisionist nonsense. You don't have to rate Lennon, but pretending Aquilani was amazing is laughable.Originally posted by Arn View PostHe was our best player when he got the chance to play more often. He created a lot of chances and had a few assists.

Would Lenon manage much more?Originally posted by Craig_H View PostEach to their own, i dont rate Aquilani at all and Lennon would give us something we dont have & something we need. Aquilani will barely manage to play 20 games._____________________________________

How often have Lennon delivered at Spurs? Say one game out of ten. The rest of the games he is very average.Originally posted by Craig_H View PostEach to their own, i dont rate Aquilani at all and Lennon would give us something we dont have & something we need. What would Lennon offer us? Well, he could be our new headless chicken because that is the way he play. Some times he get lucky and play an excellent game but as I said in most games he is very very average.
His game intelligence more or less don't exist.
Is he a team player? No if you believe the rumours. The opposite if you again believe the rumours.
Lennon better than Aquilani

This is exactly why people rip you to pieces. It's bordering on embarrassing.Originally posted by Arn View PostHow often have Lennon delivered at Spurs? Say one game out of ten. The rest of the games he is very average.

I never said Lennon was 'better' than Aquilani, so you know what you can do with your 'haha' smiley. He's a better fit for what we actually need/lack in our squad though, far more so than Aquilani who would and should struggle to get a game.
As for one good game in ten for Lennon, i suppose you must watch Spurs games in their tens then? Even when they play at the same time as us?
