Sad but true, some of the deals we have done in recent years have been crazy

We just piss money away like a pensoner at the bingo. We are the worse club in football when it comes to transfers. We have been shocking since Peter Robinson left the club. He was never properly replaced.

Not sure you can really blame him. Rafa gave him chance to play toward the end of his last season and Aquilani played really well. If it wasn't for Rafa getting sacked Imo he would have been regular the following season.

Purslow in his wisdom decided his wages are issue and he loaned him to Juve in what turned out to be the worst loaned deal ever.

Juve didn't signed him as they got Pirlo on free so there was no reason to pay a fee on similar type of a player.

The following season Kenny decided Adam was his man even though he was the best player in the pre-season.

Ayre in his wisdom structured another terrible conditional loan.

Milan didn't sign him on permanent deal as they made arrangements in January to sign Montolivo in summer on free and once again there was no reason for Milan to pay fee to sign similar player.

It is too bad that he was never given a real chance to prove himself.as he is a good player and we could have used him last couple years

Can we please stop Ian Ayre having anything to do with negotiations

The best L4 can do this summer is to either sack Ayre or just have him focus on what his job used to as a commercial director.

Keep him away from football related side of things for good..

I thought he once refused to come on as a sub during Rafa's reign cos he didn't feel right?

I don't know why the board are being blamed for **** loan deals, none of the managers wanted him, only one team wanted him on loan, found out he was made of glass and sent him back. It's better to have him off the books for a year, don't you think?

Ayre needs to step down and get back to the commerical side of things. We need a proper CEO that knows football and a top team to take care of transfers.

I have nothing but absolute contempt for Aquilani

I dont blame the managers, Purslow or Ayre in anyway

All this ****e pr and posturing from him and his agent

The club have bent over backwards to help him over the last few seasons and all he does is look to shaft us further

I said weeks ago we'd end up paying him off to get rid of him

**** him, I hope we get rid this summer I really do

He'd have still gone back to Italy on loan

Seems a bit off that his wage deal comes out into the public domain just as were trying to get him off the books.
