I dont even think Modric is anything special. It seems everyone has started rating him since ManU's reported interest, similar to the way Gareth Barry's price got pushed up as soon as we expressed an interest.

If Spurs can manage to get anything close to £30m, they should bite Chelsea's hand off!

Modric was Spurs best player last year.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I think he's a fantastic player - skilful, neat passer, creative but also really tenacious. He always strikes me as someone who'd be perfectly at home in the Barcelona midfield.

                          He's the new Paul Scholes?!
                          .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

Probably, I can't really remember that season

Spurs won't come fourth again any time soon, and Harry know it. Selling Modric would give him the perfect excuse to quit while his stock is high leaving him as a shoe in for the England job when Capello is shambolic at the euros.
