there's no doubt avb is a talented young manager, the success he had at porto proves that but maybe the chelsea job is a step too far, too soon for him. admittedly it's easy to say that now when he's struggling.Originally posted by rcasemore View Posttrying to think who's out there at the moment for them, obviously Rafa I guess there's Cappello as well.
I hope he hangs around for quite some time and they give his "project" a real good go.
very difficult to say who could take over should avb be sacked. some serious rebuilding needs done with that chelsea squad. too many ageing players and too many egos.

It's utter madness that the Chavs once again find themselves in a position where they are talking about their managers future.
They appointed a 33 year old at the start of the season after paying a hefty release fee for him. There must have been discussions in the board room that he, Boas, was the man to take them forward long term. To sack him now would smack of nothing more than short-termism.
The real problem at Chelsea is the 'old guard'. They need shot of Drogba, Lampard & Terry before the start of next season and allow Boas to build his own team in his mould.

sacking him now would make the 'old guard' even more untouchable and even more arrogant and cuntish than they allready are

i wonder if avb has privately had enough, and wouldnt mind getting sacked and paid off...
when he says things like the players must be behind his project or they can go, i wonder if abramovich is squirming as its obviously his project and will deeply resent the manager for being the wannabe big fish at chavski.removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.
