The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I love the bit right at the beginning - he's about to write 'dear' but has written a 'b' and crossed it out

Managers since Abramovich has been at Chelsea, I for one hope they continue the change of manager every season or so!

        •Claudio Ranieri: Sep 2000 to May 2004
        •Jose Mourinho: Jun 2004 to Sep 2007
        •Avram Grant: Sep 2007 to May 2008
•Luiz Felipe Scolari: Jul 2008 to Feb 2009
        •Guus Hiddink: Feb 2009 to May 2009
        •Carlo Ancelotti: Jun 2009 to May 2011
        •Andre Villas-Boas: Jun 2011 to Mar 2012

Lots of speculation that Moyes will replace him.

Dunno if you saw the post-match stuff on Sky after the Spurs/United game today but Gary Neville was great to listen to. He emphasised the point about stability and how changing managers so often is never going to lead to success. It was put to him that Roman 'wants to win the CL' so he keeps changing it until he finds someone who'll win it. Neville's retort was that, of course Roman wants to win the CL - so do Bayern Munich, so do AC Milan, so do United, so do Liverpool, so do Barcelona - everyone wants to win it, but only one can. Doesnt mean that those who dont, should just sack manager after manager until they do.

It was also put to him that Chelsea are in danger of slipping out of the CL and therefore having NO chance of winning it next season. He replied that yeah, they might miss out - so what? It happens, AC Milan had a year or two where they missed it, Liverpool are out of the CL but so what? They'll be back. It happens in football, Liverpool have missed CL for a few years, United went 26 years without the title. Arsenal havent won a trophy in 7 years -but Liverpool havent sacked manager after manager within a 12 month period of them starting the job, Arsenal have kept faith with Wenger, United didnt sack Atkinson after one year of time.

He relayed the point about how football works in cycles and whilst nobody likes having barren periods, whether it's not winning the league, not winning a cup or not being in the CL - it DOES happen, that just IS football and you will never change that.

He's a manc cunt and i hated Gary Neville as a player but he's a superb analyst and when he's being normal and serious, he's very insightful to listen to.

Really? Sky put up a graphic of the latest odds on the next permanent Chelsea manager and there were about 10 names on the list. Moyes wasnt one of them and the lowest one on the list was 16/1. So Moyes is apparently considered even less likely than a 16/1 shot to get the job, by bookies.

Moyes is being championed by some in the press, I think Dominic King.
                    Are we winning?

It's got to be a tough call for them, between Woy and Redknapp.

                          I've got a feeling it'll be Capello.

I think Moyes is one of those managers that can only do well at the Bitters, if he moves anywhere else I can see him being utter ****e.

i think Moyes os a good manager but if he wants CL glory think he needs to look beyond a manager who has got to the last 16 of the Europa cup.
