And another 5 goals in one match for Messi.

Not sure where he'd fit into our current set up though.

Yep, 42 goals in all comps. He'll end up on about 60-70 odd at this rate

I'd let him play in nets if he wanted

Ah ****, the 5th goal was by Xavi, not Messi

Only the four then for the little man. Rubbish

Pretty regular type of performance by Barca though.

                  Messi scored 4 today.

Has now 27 goals in La Liga and 42 in all competitions

I'm having to stop thinking back to last season when people were comparing Bale to Messi because i literally cant stop laughing when i do.

To be fair to the kid, he looks the part even despite that funny slip. He's played 3 games for the senior team....and scored 2 goals

Where do they find these kids??
He looked very lively on the left and I'd love to see a player like that in our squad.

Really good game, scoreline doesn't reflect how hard Barca had to work for it, although fully deserved. When they play like that there's nothing any team can do about it.

Banega's a huge blow for Valencia, they might have to rely on Parejo to supplement Costa, which involves a bit of risk.

Possibly 6 months away. Was that confirmed?

I mean the story about his "car" injury.

For me Suarez really tries to play like Messi, the problem is we dont plan and can't afford to play our tactics around him..

Apparently Joe Cole is the english Messi.

Was lively, looked to me like Messi was coaching him on the pitch.

13 goals away from being Barca's highest ever goalscorer. A record which has stood since 1955 of 235 goals.

And he's not even 25 till the summer!
