Konchesky, Poulsen and Jones - I wasted almost an entire summer last year ranting and raving about those three useless ****ers. I wasn't the only one obviously. But if an amateur like me and many others could tell they were all utter ****e and would be abject failures at LFC without any doubt whatsoever, how come a man of 36 ****ing years experience couldn't tell? Infuriates me but at the same time I laugh in the face of that clueless fraud Hodgson.
Shocking judgement from Hodgson. The Poulsen deal is the one that I just still will never be able to understand. We paid Juve £5m odd AND gave the Aquilani on loan for the whole season for Christian ****ing Poulsen. Take a bow you **** Hodgson, take a bow.

Most of us called that Konchesky was **** and that Poulsen's legs had gone, all of which has proved correct in their time with us, we also all said that Jones was crap, fortunately he's had few opportunities to show us how bad. So it does make you wonder. Admittedly we don't always get it right in our judgements, but when 95% of fans think someone is **** chances are they are. Other clubs fans must be pissing themselves. Personally I can't believe we're only making a 70% loss on Konchesky, somehow knowing how bad he is and getting £1.5m for him feels like a victory.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

          Erm, Brad Jones.

How many of us here actually don't shudder anymore at the thought of Jones being in goal?

He was pretty, pretty poor at Boro, Wednesday, Derby and the like. But over the course of the last six months he's been good for us I think.

Faultless again tonight. Safe with crosses, a decent shot-stopper. Not saying that I want him to replace Reina but it certainly doesn't strike me with fear to see his name on the teamsheet.

                  Goodness knows.

Read on TLW that he couldn't get into America for our pre-season tour because he'd been convicted for assault previously.

Someone here mentioned that he's in Brazil at the moment because of family reasons.

                  **** knows mate. Weird one.

It's become almost impossible to keep track of our reserve goalkeepres in the last few years, there have been so many (and soooo ****) and they just seem to disappear once in a while.

I now like the idea that Doni is a hardcase

I reckon we probably have the hardest team in the league

Dunno about faultless. Jones did well but I thought he was ****** on the first goal. Obviously it was Enrique's fault but Jones could and should've done much better. Be decisive man and claim it!

I really like him though and it's great to see him play the odd game and do well on the whole. He wasn't as terrifying last night as he usually is.

He was decent enough and perfectly adequate as a reserve goalkeeper.

I think he's a terrible keeper but gets some leeway because people want him to succeed for personal reasons. Nothing wrong with that, but this good form people talk about has escaped me.

Think before he came to us he was mostly what we have seen - a decent shot stopper/technical keeper who had no control over his area.

We can't expect to have a keeper list of Casillas, Reina & Valdes like Spain does ffs...
