You could say that about many players including our Captain. It is a problem but not a big problem.

A player will look like he don't care in some games during a season when in reality he just having a bad day at the office.

When the team is struggling then it is very easy to pick out a scapegoat when in reality the whole team should be blamed. Downing for example could look like he is playing a **** game but when you then look at the game again you may see the reasons to why. He may not got the service he needed for example and that was the reasons to why he didn't do or noticed much in the game.

omg i'm amazed, Ray Wilkins has just written off our chances of being involved in a title battle with UTD and Chavs.

one thing that downing might miss from villa is the training ground. Bodymoor heath is located in one of the best areas you could possibly wish for. Honest to god, its one hell of a place to train on a daily basis.
