hes not spectacular but he is effective, and at the moment we arent in the position to be able to buy the worlds top players.

there is no doubt that this lad will improve us to no end and you just need to give him a chance.

he is a much better player than people think.

No word on how much. £15m is a good price for Villa, more than that would be too much imho.

Will give us much needed width on the left, and provide crosses for Carroll.

If we sign no one else, I will be fairly happy.

All we need are a backup striker, centre back, and maybe a leftback. But who knows... maybe we will go a whole season without losing all our best players to long term injury.
