Seriously, where are the Man City fans?

They've just smashed the league and you can literally count the amount of people in each frame in those 'celebration' scenes outside the Etihad.

I don't get the apathy in their fanbase. Is it because it's just all too easy with all of the spending behind their league wins?

Same can be said for any club. Doesn't explain the aparrent indifference from fans whose club have just won the league.

Maybe the passion and deservedness has been pushed out by all the money pushed in.

i think they were almost getting bigger crowds in the 2nd division than they do for some premier games. great to see that support when they were struggling [feed the goat, etc] but they just haven't captured any more fans. not true 'fans' anyway, they might have a few 'tourists' though.

I mentioned a while ago that Chelsea fans are the same about their success, especially the muted way they celebrated their CL win. It's odd but might be embarrassment as they know themselves that they don't deserve it

I'd personally always prefer a full, smaller ground which is full of passion than a large one, with any empty seats in it.

Suspect it's because most of them don't really know what it means to win it.
Go back 20/30 years and I'm sure Chelsea were struggling for much more than 30,000 in that stadium.

Still smaller than OT, Anfield, Highbury, Goodison, Villa Park and many others in that era.

When the standing Kippax was a thing, the capacity was pretty huge.
