Rangers got relegated 3 divisions for this sort of stuff. As well as FFP this is also a tax dodge.

City are pretty ****ing arrogant, but it is not unheard of for teams to be punished for financial irregularity.

    Juve also got relegated.

I don't think the PL or the FA have got the balls.

FFP has its place, but at its core it seems like a way of stopping fast growth to keep the money between the few.

Now speaking as a Liverpool fan, I hope these cunts get the book thrown at them. Even if we wrote that book
It was a good try, but ultimately bollocks. The "I had to break into the house and steal the TV because there was no other way to get in" argument

FFP was supposed to be about making the game sustainable, stopping it being a billionaire's toy, preventing player and wage inflation strangling clubs outside of the elite, preventing football being a money launderette and helping to prevent clubs going bust by yo-yo funding. The rules were there for the good of the sport, the breaking of them was purely for the self interest of a few egotistical billionaires. It wasn't clubs working on a strategy to break into the elite, it was individuals wanting to find a way of owning an elite football club, any elite football club, and choosing the most cost efficient way.

        It might damage 'the product'.

Highly unlikely, well improbable in all honesty, but I'm hoping that all the major leagues get together and gang up on them and those French ****ers - threaten to sue maybe or whatever other options are out there so that UEFA and FIFA have to act.

Actually now is exactly the time for talk of a super league - one which excludes MC and PSG.

I'm starting to wonder if there are any rules they haven't broken.
                Oh I don't know.

They could be used as the perfect example for Fifa and the FA to set some genuine rules in place and show some teeth with some sanctions.

                  It won’t happen tho.

City continue to rub everyone's noses in it with a £300k p/w contract for Sterling.

I wonder if he'll ever really fulfill his potential.

He's 11 goal involvements in 9 PL matches this season and 29 in 29 last. Those are world class figures.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

                          Really?

In my admittedly limited eyes he just comes across as really wasteful most of the time, and fluky when something does come off.

An enigma, it's fair to say.
