Presumably he is cheap because of injuries, that seems to have spooked the market - was anyone else seriously linked?

Let's hope he stays injured and they continue playing Fernando and his clown partner (which one, ha I like ).

Good player that has been decimated by injuries, similar to Reus in that respect. On the one hand it could be a shrewd signing but on the other hand, if he is injury prone... he's in the wrong league.

Interesting to read his comments on signing - Pep being the major draw for the player rather than the two bit money doped club. He's a good player, but is he as good as peak Yaya?

Rated Gundogan a few months back but he's pretty dreadful now. Fat crock.

Cheap because he only extended his contract by a year so he wouldn't leave on a free IIRC? A fit Gundogan is an excellent player and the type of player City are missing and would fit well with Pep's philosophy.

He has had a number of injuries in the past few years but City can afford a "punt" on an injury prone player and hope to get him fit.

Was amazing before he got injured.

Now it's all about staying fit for him, I wonder if he can get back to how he was? Hope not.

Nah, but Pogba will be when they sign him.

Personally I think he'll end up at Chelsea - he'll want to work with Conte again.
