If City do miss out, along with Chelsea it will be interesting as apart from Champions League games the only other thing they have to offer is a huge amount of wages and not much else. Especially for City this could be a huge blow and mean for them almost having to start again.

I think he really wants to go to Man City under Guardiola. We were linked with him for a few months, but Pep met the City DOF, Gundogan was apparently a major target of his, and they worked on bringing him to the club.
